About River Run Park

River Run ATV Park is located on the beautiful Neches River, west of Jacksonville and southeast of Frankston. The guests of River Run enjoy playing on over 2,000 acres of private land. Many people enjoy riding their ATV, 4 x 4 trucks, horses, and other off-road vehicles. This park offers many fun activities for the entire family such as, extreme mud riding, dry trail riding, oil field roads, mud pits, and scenic views of the Neches River.

The Neches River is a great feature of the park and provides guests the opportunity to go fishing, swimming, swing from the rope swings, or just cool off while trail riding. It is important to note that, according to the Texas Penal Code SB No. 155, motorized vehicles are not allowed in the river (www.tpwd.state.tx.us). For horses or non-mud riders, there are several miles of dry trails around the property for this type of riding. “These trails lead through the wooded Neches River bottom and over oil field roads. These trails are great for riders who do not want to get muddy or the riders who like horseback riding.”

River Run has several mud pits for people that like to take it to the extreme. We also have three pressure washers for removing all traces of the days play. We provide sixteen hot and cold showers - eight for men and eight for women. In addition to the showers, we now have restrooms for men and women as well. The camping at River Run offers 120 RV sites with full hookups as well as “lots of dry camping” for all. There are 9 cabins available with 3 full beds, 1 twin bed, microwave, heat/ac, stove, sink, and refrigerator. The cabins do not have restrooms and showers, but the shower house and new restrooms are right across the street from the cabins.

Come join the fun at River Run. We hope to see you on the trail soon!
